Indian sounding man called stating that he was from talktalk technical dept and was offering to sort out my broadband connection.
Scam
Text message claims to be from Paypal asking for the recipient to accept new terms and conditions. I checked my Paypal account online and could find nothing about accepting any T&C's. I believe it to be yet another phone scam.
Fraud
Blocklist this number. A real pain added to my block list of other numbers on mobile.
I am 77 years and and had a call regarding my hearing. I was asked questions about my working life, I was in submarines and also in engines rooms in a bank. Throughout this I had regular checks by all my employers. I received an apt for a hearing test which I will not attend.

Fraud: the number came up at first as INTERNATIONAL on my phone then as a phone number linked to Blackpool. I think it originated in India! I ended the call when the caller claimed to come from a computer company. Be warned they want access to your computer and a huge load of cash!

Called me Answer phone which stated HMRC had opened a tax fraud case against me then to click on 1 for more info. I rang off before taking furtther. Felt this was probably a scam call could be worrying for some.
SCAM/PHISHING? Foreign sounding man calling himself ‘Kevin’ from the ‘Post Code Lottery’ said that I had been picked to win a ‘gift card’ that would give me 40% off ANY supermarket shop. I said I hadn’t entered any competition, but he just carried on talking. He knew my name/surname, and asked my age. Refused to tell him. He was persistent & asked again. I told him I couldn’t go out to any supermarket, as my family all have Covid and I’m not going out. Eventually he got fed up with me & ende
Some accident investigatory bureau. When I asked where they got my details from, the guy said from your dad idiot and hung up. Blocked.
