Scammer saying I had been involved in a road traffic accident
This is a genuine Santander number but it is not impossible for a fraudster to appear to be calling from it (or any number). Santander will not call you without a valid reason so unless you are certain you have never had any previous dealings with Santander, Abbey National, Alliance & Leicester or Girobank you should follow the advice to take the caller s name and ring back to a published Santander number using either a different landline or a mobile.

I answered the first 1 and they said I was due money from an accident 2 years ago. I played them for a little then told them I had been in no accident. So where did you get my details. They would not say then I told them they were fraudulent and she took offence. Now they phone me daily
Covid-19 Survey on behalf of Young and Wellcome Trust, sounded genuine and didn't ask for personal information as such. Very polite though so hopefully people don't give them aggro.

This number called me unexpectedly today, I had not been in contact with this company before. I picked up and said Hello? several times and no one talked. In the background, there was a lot of noise from what sounded like a call centre. Definitely marketing call or likewise.
Didn t answer it, caller left no voicemail, probably a scam.

Says you have a large inheritance, send all your address and bank details to a Google email account. Won t provide an address or other details so I reckon is just another scumbag who needs locking up.
