Rang saying they were from Openreach. My landline is cable with Virgin so I wouldn't need to be contacted by them. Hung up on them as probably a scam.

rang me 3 times but I didn't answer as I was scared to. who could it be?
Pretended I was a past BT customer, offered new BT package. Obtained my details. Courteous but it was unclear exactly what the package would cover, and they wanted def agreement (working towrds bank info?) before emailing detail. I refused.
