Woman with strong Asian accent claiming to be from Opus Energy. As with other reports, claiming there was an error with MPAN number affecting the meter reading. Hung up and she called back annoyed and demanding to speak to the person responsible for the electric supply. Sadly for her that was me. In the current circumstances with energy companies going to the wall we can expect more of these pond life creatures creeping out from under their rock. Scamming scum.
This business is operated by a guy called Wayne Phillips. He s listed as a director of about a dozen companies, many of which have either been dissolved or are officially not trading. I ve managed to trace a number of addresses which are apparently his residences mostly in South Wales but also one in Buckinghamshire. I could let you have them if you wish to contact him personally.
