Phoned today at12.15 pm. Fairly gruff voice. Purportedly from BT. Asked me to confirm that I had been in touch with BT this morning. As I had, I said yes. There was some hesitation and a lot of background noise. I asked what he wanted. He asked if contact was by phone or mail (I think). I replied that the contact was on the internet and he abruptly ended the call.

I am from The Netherlands and this number calls me very often. However, I am always too late with answering my phone. I don t know anyone who lives in England, so I have no idea who this person may be. This is why I m really curious who this person/company is. Text Message saying it was from Hermes and that they had been unable to deliver a parcel. Wasn't expecting a parcel, so went on to Hermes Tracking on a different machine to check the tracking number - needless to say, this number doesn't exist! Obviously a scam.
Claimed to be National Accident Helpline Solicitors. Said I had been in a car accident and was due compensation. Wanted to know my personal details so i made up a lot of false rubbish and wasted their time. Obvious scammers.

Someone phoned me this morning on telephone number 0364960079 saying they were from Amazon Prime, and they were going to take £17.99 from my bank account. I have checked my bank account, but as yet there has not been anything taken out. I will keep checking as that is not one of Amazon's numbers. Maureen.
