Just had the same sort of experience....individual is very persistent and insists that I have got the wrong idea when I ask eg why should I trust a cold call etc. I am Mr Cynica...

I answered the call from this number 01562281051, and as soon as I spoke it hung up.
man phoned from this number, said he was from LM Legal. My wife took the call and when she said I will pass you to my husband he hung up.
This number as phoned three times today, even though I am ex-directory and I have registered with the UK Telephone preference service to block unwanted calls. Number is registered and traced to Netherlands.
