SPAM Suspicious activity against my national insurance number. If you try to call back it says : The number you have dialed is not recognised.
Asian-sounding voice asked "Good morning, how are you today?" My wife asked the caller how he got our number (we re ex-directory). Caller hung up immediately.
Automated call Another Amazon scam informing me money will be coming out of my account for something I haven't purchased less I hit button 1 to talk to one of the criminals at the other end who will obviously need my bank or credit card details for confirmation that I am who I say. On phoning the number back it doesn't exist.
keep phoning everyday but never leave a message.
Scam for HMRC. I'm assuming it was call spoofing though so the person who owns this number probably didn't do anything wrong.
