Claimed to be a Local Energy Adviser
SCAM Claimed to be from the post office about a package that had insufficient postage. When I asked for a name and number to call back on they hung up.
Called us trying to get us to “renew” a care plan, and only wanted our bank account details so they could send us renewal details. Claimed that “under GDPR, they could not retain those details”. Said that as soon as they got those details they would call back and verify then send details. Kept trying to “explain”. When told it sounded like a scam, they transferred me to another person. When I explained that “as I am an existing customer the GDPR does not say I can’t be given my own details and they don
