This Indian sounding gentleman says he works for the Ministry of Justice in London & is the senior accounts manager working with a company called money saving expert to recover PPI insurances on loans & mortgages. For an up front cash fee(?290 or ?615) payable via Western Union, to India, he will arrange transfer of funds to you which amount to 10 s of thousands of pounds. Once the cash fee is paid another Indian sounding gentleman phones to get the Western Union transfer number(MCTN)& tells you everything
Attempted to obtain my personal details, said I was owed money which they had, I was then asked if they could just get me through their "security screening" a definite scam, would easily fool the greedy!!
Claims Guys saying we had contacted them which we hadn't re PPI very persistent and annoying
Fraud Saying there has been a fraudulent claim on my tax account. Hung up before the message could play out. I'm guessing it would of been a press one at the end.

this is a hoax. have checked it with hmrc. do not call them back. just ignore the call. fyi hmrc, bank, etc.... will never call and leave threatening messages
