Fake caller pretending to be a hmrc and claiming there was tax fraud investigation and if I didn't answer I would arrested promptly, I pressed 1 and a person answered saying how can I help you today, this therefore told me straight away it was a scam as why does a hmrc officer need to ask me how they can help me if they called me. Don't continue with the unless you want to mess them around.

I live in Plymouth but judging by other comments, they were calling from Darlington. Asked her for name of company and she said Industrial Workers Office. I gave them an earful and hung up.
