Received an unsolicited text stating it was an alert that unusual activity was spotted on my PayPal account and to click on a web link to regain access. Looks totally bogus.
This number called 07984 325598 and then hangs up. When you call back the phone is switched off 07984 325598

Caller said they were from BT and they detected suspicious activity on my router. I asked them if they were OK to have the conversation recorded - they hung up.

I received at least 5 calls yesterday. It s always a silent call. Nobody speak in the other end. If they call me again I will call the police. I think it is a ping call. SCAM CALL!

Called to offer me a better rate on my mortgage. I don t have a mortgage and they asked if I wanted my details removed, I said yes and was told this could take 1 business day. 23 hours later I received another call, I ve since had a call yesterday and today. Next time they call I m going to get the full company name and complain to the ICO.

Got a call from this number claiming he was returning a missed call and my number had appeared on his phone-demanded to know who I was and became agressive and abusive on the phone when I refused to confirm my identity. I cut off and blocked the number and then checked my caller log-I had not made any calls to the number and he was not in my contacts list. May have been an accident but given there have been 63 searches for this number assume it is some idiot who is trying to steal personal details
