have been getting these calls regularly, once daily for several weeks. I usually ignore the call when my caller display shows this number. Last week I rang 1471 for the hell of it and got a recorded message -your wine club tried to contact you. I am actually a Laithwaites member and use them when I want to order wine. These calls seem to be part of a wider push to bring in more sales. However the recorded message also gives you an other number to ring if you wish not to receive further calls. This is 0800 6

I rang Aberdeen Porsche Centre about a second hand car they had for sale, unknown and without my consent, they have passed my details on to an "Independent Review Provider" who rang me today from this number saying they were "calling from Aberdeen Porsche Centre" for some feedback regarding my enquiry with them. Cold call....I don t answer any number unless they leave a message and I want to call back. Any number that comes through that doesn t leave a message or is unknown to me I just put it in my blocked list and delete it immediately. Don t ever call unknown numbers back if its genuine they will always leave a message

Automated call stating that the call was from Amazon Prime and that the prime account was going to auto re-new imminently by direct debit. If I wanted to speak to someone then hang on the line... Strange as I don't have an Amazon Prime account... so go figure... Also tried phoning number back and "lo and behold" the number is not recognised... I would be VERY aware of this...

A person rang saying they were from the Financial Conduct Authority and were ringing to help me recover money. I said they were a scammer and hung up.
Fraud.. Caller trying to sell me a washing machine warranty told me mine had run out on 7th March '21. NOT SO..Scammer.
Caller asked for the home owner and said it was not a sales call. the company did have our surname but did not ask to speak to Mr or Mrs......... When I asked how they got our number (ex-directory) they just put the phone down.
