I asked him for verification and he gave me this number but when I dialled 1471 he had called from 02871030659 which unsurprisingly was unavailable. I called 02036305457 and the automatic answer said it was Telephone Preference Management. I put the phone down and a bit later they rang me back so I told them Iwas investigating who they were as I believed they were not who they said. T

This is a scam number, I received a call from this mobile number today purporting to be from my bank saying I had two large withdrawals one to Amazon and one to an overseas account and I should press 2 to speak to an operator about them or press 1 to cancel the payments straight away before the money left my account. I hung up and checked on line banking, no such withdrawals made so this is a scam.
