This number was given to me this morning by a scammer pretenting to be from TalkTalk saying I'd be without internet service for up to 18 days due to my computer causing problems with their server. Guess what . It could be fixed remotely by the caller........no doubt introducing a virus or some such to my computer and then charging me to get rid of the problem. TalkTalk have confirmed the number is not theirs and that they did not call me this morning

Caller rang in the morning from the number 02532 806025. Female, who spoke with an accent from the Indian Sub-Continent. vocal hubbub in the background, so it was from a call centre. She said she was from BT, and that my internet connection had been investigated and found to have been attacked. I told her that was marvellous, and it was the best news I had had in ages. I thanked her for calling to tell me about it, and hung up. Scam. Block it.

I did neither as this automatically tells the criminals they are ring a genujine number and will continue to plague. I note from above it is a premium rate service which means once you have pressed either selection you could get charged some exhorbitant amount payable to these scammers.
