Caller stated he was from BT and wanted to discuss internet problems but could not tell me when I last used the internet and he than hung up, I have reported the number to BT as a spam call

They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn. The staff who call have no idea, nor choice of who they ring as the system selects a number at random from their data, and only when the line opens do they see your name and address etc. They are legitimate in terms of what they are offering (a free hearing frequency test at your local football club/hotel) however, if you will receive any money should a claim be successful is questionable. Got a call from this number- left to voicemail. Got a robot voice demanding to call it back as part of the HMRC. If i didn't there would be severe legal consequences. Pretty positive this is a scam or money call trap.
