Received a call from this number on 20/12/14 and let it go to ansaphone as I didn t recognise the number and get a large number of nuisance calls. If people start to leave a message, I pick up. If they don t leave a message (as on this occasion) I check for others experience with the number after the call, and I was not surprised to discover that it s another one of these tiresome attempts to gain access to my computer.

Just looking at new insurance for home and car .. I didn t answer phone, but called back, asking what they want. They are following up on my on line quotes.
This is a persistent PPI marketer - will call back multiple times in 24 hr period if you don t answer.

Please people, never give any details to these scammers. When I explained they were not in and asked if I could take a message, the caller sounded annoyed that the person he called for was not in, and then HE HUNG UP. . Cold caller? Telemarketer? SCAM says call is form Carphone Warehouse. When asked where he got my number from, he replied that it was from my network provider. He was unable to tell me who my network provider was and hung up himself.
