Just received a call; answered it - no one spoke
automated call telling me there has been a suspicious foreign currency transaction on my debit card for £600 (strange its exactly £600 in a foreign currency!!!) and that I should press '2' to speak to a customer service advisor. Pressed '2' to see where it would divert me and went straight through to a foreign call centre.

Scammer Be Wary! Came to my house for someone that does not exist. Lied and said the court gave him my address. Yet I lived here for years and never received one court letter. Asked me to send personal and sensitive information over 'Whats App' Dodgy as hell! Clearly, a fraudster trying to make money for Christmas. Call the Police and report!

Automated call stating that the call was from Amazon Prime and that the prime account was going to auto re-new imminently by direct debit. If I wanted to speak to someone then hang on the line... Strange as I don't have an Amazon Prime account... so go figure... Also tried phoning number back and "lo and behold" the number is not recognised... I would be VERY aware of this...

I have had over 40 calls from these people on their new number 0161 939 7225. These scammers are trying to get you to claim PPI and will not take no for an answer. They called my mobile a month ago and I strung this chap along for over 8 minutes since it was a landline to mobile call, thinking that they would pay a lot for the this scam call. Despite registration with the TPS, I had two cold calls about an alleged car accident in which I was involved but I do not own a car and certainly was not involved in an accident on the date claimed. The caller claimed to be from a company called Solicitors Law Firm and to have got details of my alleged accident from the UK National Traffic Department but as far as I can ascertain neither organisation exists. They witheld their phone number but claimed to be calling from 01527 821239.
