Over the last 2 days I ve received over 30 phone calls from them, some abusive (Ive been called a abusive names), some silent. I ve asked them to stop calling but they seem to find it funny. I ve reported it to my local police, OFCOM & my service provider. Please report any calls from them to OFCOM, the more reports they get the better the case against them. Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

This number calls me constantly throughout the day regarding financial services. The first time I answered as it is from a dialing code of my local area. When I asked where they were based she said in Hinckley which is my home town. I asked her a couple of questions regarding my local area and she couldn't answer them. This number now rings me several times a day. Very annoying.
