Automated Phone number check, cuts off straight away.

Phone rings and as soon as I answer it its hung up

They call from this number twice a day under the guise of different company names - Direct Utilities, Business Utilities, Select Utilities, Regional Utilities. They are clearly dumb, because when requested to remove our details from their records and stop calling, they say OK and then don t do it, despite being told the we only have a mailing box address and therefore have no need for utilities. Go back to school, children!

I received a call for this number that is saying that im involved in a fraud. they only inform me what fraud I was involved with if they I will tell them my full name and address. I refused to give my details and they said if I refuse they will send a police to arrest me.

If you listen closely on loud speaker there is a recorded message and then they hang up but you cannot understand the message...

Have been calling me frequently over the past few months, using variations of this number so blocking the number isn t much help. Sent me texts asking for Mr Paul Phillips, which is not a name I am familiar with. I have never answered one of their phone calls as I don t want to give them a reason to call more often.

Called me today. I ignored because I suspected a scam. Having now read previous comments, I will block the number.

Number actually shows as 0019798234079 on caller ID but this site seems to drop the 00. This is a Windows security scam where they tell you that you have viruses on your PC and they can fix them for you. Didn t go along with it today and said to them that I suppose they were going to show me errors and warnings in my Windows event logs and they just hung up without any further comment. Hopefully they will remove me from their database if they realise I m too Windows savvy to ever fall for this.

The knob on the phone is obviously in the wrong business as he seriously cant take regection. id suggest he gave up and signed on at dole office

Had a missed call from this number & when I phoned it back it said connecting you now. Got a man who said he hadn't phoned me but I said he had, he said he would check ...

Indian accent. Asked speak mr .. My female name, I asked who was calling they hung up. Called three times I say it s only 1pm

He wanted to talk to the person who deals with electricity bills, so I asked him whether he meant the business or home account. I don t think he understood me, got mildly aggressive, so I repeated myself until he said the business account. Then I said "well our business is a boat, it doesn t use gas or electricity, so unless you can supply me red diesel at a competitive rate there is nothing you can do for me." Hopefully I won t hear from him again.

Scam from a company that will ask to get money from you through a voucher (3V prepaid voucher) because they say:"You have been accepted for a personal loan". By any cost, do not believe them, trust me, I have been there. They just take your money, and that s it, you have to pay more and more charges after that. So DO NOT FALL FOR THIS BULLSHIT.
