The infamous James Martin with an obvious Indian accent rang to say there was a problem with my router. Immediately my guard was up. Be careful of this guy for he is very plausible and very persistent. I have read the others below and it is an obvious scam

SCAM / SPAM rang me on house phone and automated message said it was my broadband provider (name not specified) and that they were going to cut it off due to illegal use. it went on to say press 1 to speak to someone.... blah blah blah, I hung up but did not ring my broadband provider from my house phone. by the way WHO CALLED ME I have no idea what automat and paid number is as an option to choose for type of call.. maybe you could explain?

This number (and as it seems also all similar numbers of the same range - 122 528 71xx) are used for the same call centre, they are already reported in connection with breast cancer research (mostly non-profit org.), but also road accidents telemarketing... You decide, I blocked it.

Keeps calling. When you call back just get an automated american accented on hold "your call is important to us please hold and an agent will be with you shortly" call never gets picked up as after 2-3 minutes it says goodbye and hangs up. Suspect it is a call centre for ppi, an accident I've never had or solar panels. No message ever left. Number of calls makes it a nuisance.
