Have been ringing me for days and finally caught me out when I answered. Said their records show they could save me some money on my mortgage! Bearing in mind I’ve just tied in to a fixed rate with a completely different bank to see how and told them so, then he asked what I’m paying in insurance premiums and when I said I’d really rather not say, he just hung up! I’m never rude to those people so why they feel they can be rude to me when it’s them that has invaded my privacy riles me! Something really sh

Pressed 1 to get another automated message to be told I was being transferred. Transferred through to what was obviously a call centre. I only did it out of curiosity as I knew it was a scam. Claiming to be from my Internet service provider but could not give me any information to demonstrate that this was genuinely the case - didn't know my name and when challenged could not prove who they were calling from. Told me there had been issues with Internet connection in my area in the last few weeks and when I said mine has been fine they then changed tack and said they were calling to protect me from hackers. I cut them off and suggested my ISP contacts me over email if there's a genuine problem.

SCAM Automated call pretended to be Ofcom and that my io address has been connected with links and internet was to be switched off within 24 hours, and asking me to press 1 to connect with the scammer. Hung up and contacted Ofcom directly and clarified it was indeed a scam. Horrible bastards I hope no one gets caught out HANG UP IMMEDIATLY.
