When called back number doesn't exist
Claims to be from Virgin Media asking for outstanding bill. Checked with Virgin. It is a con.
I answered phone but I didn't say anything and the call terminated.

It says this is Clearanswer, a marketing company and one of BTs partners.....comments from the general public seem to suggest otherwise. A very foreign voice suggested my BT contract was coming to an end. I don’t discuss new contracts with a cold caller. When I said it wasn’t due to be renegotiated she hung up...not the sort of thing a genuine person would do.

This number calls me once a day every day every time I answer it hangs up now I don't bother trying to answer it I let it ring now it is just ringing to us and hanging up but it will still ring me every day this is a nuisance and it is harassing me! This was a pre-recorded message telling me that my account ( no mention of account details ) had two payments being attempted. Nothing to do with me, so I suggest you flag this as probable scam attempt!
Answered the call could hear a call centre in the background then the call ended. Nobody spoke so don’t know what they were trying to sell.
