this number called me today around midday, there was a delay, then a "bong" sound then a recorded voice said "goodbye" and hung up. presume it s some automated way of checking to see if a number is valid, so i can look forward to more spam calls now i guess!

Two rings and hung up. Couldn t take the call. Tried to return the call but my outgoing call was dropped.
Just a silent call - but have received about three other calls this morning from a withheld number claiming to be BT asking if I was on the internet as their was a problem. So think it is related to this scam.
