received a text which came up as halifax, adking if I tried to transfer?900 from my account, pleade call 03330124289 and have your telephone banking password to hand, I do not bank with halifax,in fact my bank doesnt have my updated number, must be a scam
The line was very quiet and I couldn't hear clearly but it sounded like she said she was calling from Berso?? I queried this several times but couldn't clarify what it was, and she just said she had 3 quick simple questions. I ended the call.

Cold call saying that we had reported a spurious car accident. The caller refused to say who they were or where they had got the number that they used to call us. They were totally untruthful. We think this is illegal.

Number called and said house under observation by HMRC for future prosecution case. I actually work for HMRC and challenged them and they hung up straight away.

Yes, another call made by 'Catherine Brady' on 12/12/2017. I was in the States at the time so this cost me £1.79, hence I felt in order to tell her to buxxxr off. What would anyone else have said? Oh, by the way, I could not have had an accident as I have no vehicle!!!
