I had 2 missed calls as its a local number to County Durham where I live and a guy answered saying Hello, I said I've had a missed call, he said the call was from a claims group. I didn't get a name as he was rude when I asked if it was a cold call, so I hung up

Claiming to be a call from the bank, but not saying which bank, saying that there was suspicious activity on the account, press one etc. Ignored.

Bitcoin traders, they calling different numbers and when im answered they help me trade and ask my age and somethink but cost minimun 250€ but they ask more money if im allready invest that 250. I think some numbers are scam like this.

SCAM Fifth call I’ve had today from ‘Amazon’ SO annoying, I keep blocking the numbers then they call on another one. They think I’m stupid..,

Called me and hung up when I answered, I rang back twice was on hold twice and the call was released twice, on further investigation it's an injury lawyers line.

I called to book appointment on 0161 number but must have been directed to 0844 number and was charger £1.71 for the call which from an 0161 number it should have been free because we have anytime calls.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 17089074xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, Accident claims, insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?
