This a number used by BikeSure Insurance Company that provides my motor bike insurance and is part of the Adrian Flux Group.
These people are from a company called Ultimate Contact Solutions. The only reason they are calling you is to get you to call back (money making) and to confirm a contact number is active so they can sell it on. If you are unlucky enough to answer and stupid enough to ring back they then pump you for your details, and if able to other family members details so they can sell your details at a higher price and get an extra sale from your family s details. This is a large scaled scam but is also within the leg

have been getting these calls regularly, once daily for several weeks. I usually ignore the call when my caller display shows this number. Last week I rang 1471 for the hell of it and got a recorded message -your wine club tried to contact you. I am actually a Laithwaites member and use them when I want to order wine. These calls seem to be part of a wider push to bring in more sales. However the recorded message also gives you an other number to ring if you wish not to receive further calls. This is 0800 6
Claimed to be from BT Openreach, when I asked where he got my number from he threw a load of verbal abuse at me to which I responded that he's obviously not from BT Openreach and hung up.

Keep getting calls and spoof texts, they claim to be Scottish Power but they are not. They tell me my number is linked o a SP account but I rang SP from their website number and they have advised me there is no account with my number. Automated call stating that the call was from Amazon Prime and that the prime account was going to auto re-new imminently by direct debit. If I wanted to speak to someone then hang on the line... Strange as I don't have an Amazon Prime account... so go figure... Also tried phoning number back and "lo and behold" the number is not recognised... I would be VERY aware of this...

Rang me twice. When I picked up they said it was from Curry’s PC world, saying they had a promotions for phones and asked what phone I was using now. I said I wasn’t interested, and they hung up without saying anything else. It was quite hard to hear as their environment was loud, sounded kind of like a call centre in India. I’m not a Curry’s shopper so I doubt the legitimacy of this, probably a scam.
