SCAM Claimed to be from Car Phone Warehouse and get very upset when I gave false details.
Contacting me for a no-win-no-fee service against landlords for not keeping up with repairs to properties. Didn t sound too convincing and quite scatty when I asked about company he was calling from. More interested in obtaining details from me!!!!

Claimed to be from HMRC investigating tax fraud. If I didn't press 1, I would be arrested.
I don t say anything anymore when I pick up the phone. That way I don t get into an argument/discussion I don t want. Anyone legitimate phoning me will usually say something once the ringing tone stops. If the re not legitimate, they hang up quickly and move on to call someone else. Anyone I want to speak to will have my mobile number anyway and can get me on that. Works well for me.
