Didn’t take the call on my landline but they left a pre recorded message informing me that my card had been used in a foreign transaction twenty minutes before and that I should press 1 to stop it. Fischer Future Heat in Leicester. Returning a call I made about their electric heating. I would call that friendly.
Type of call: Attempted Fraud! Lady called Carol with a strong Indian accent pretending to be from Microsoft and trying to gain remote access to my PC. Definitely not Microsoft, definitely not calling from the UK, and definitely a scam.
Apparently my internet has been involved in unlawful activity and will be disconnected in 24/48 hours. Not the first time this has happened.

called where i work this morning. Really rude man on the line telling me he wants to find hidden commission in our utility bills. when i said our accountants are on with doing it he cut me off and said they wont be getting what he can get us. would hardly let me speak and when i could he corrected me every time although i was repeating what he had said. in the end he said "what a rude person" and hung up. dont answer to them it will be scam.

I made the mistake some years ago in giving this company £100 deposit for advertising and they just walked off with my money, did not advertise at all. I just had another call from them on my answering machine

On a more or less regular basis I receive calls from all over the UK whilst I live on the continent I suggest never to get connected as people might be able to use your tel nr to make international calls. I have blocked this number.

Scam call from HMRC. Recorded message stating that I have been involved in tax fraud. If I don't press 1 to speak to an officer, I will be arrested shortly.
Missed call - unknown. Saw it come in on my what's app... I don't like people phoning me randomly on that platform as that for me is invite/acknowledged only. The country code is for India. So I deem it as slightly suspicious. No message saying who they are. I never pick numbers I don't know. if they are really legit, they could leave a message. I'm tempted to block this number.
