Just received direct confirmation from BOS this was a genuine call. Bit sad that some register this as a scam causing unwarranted worry.
The caller said she is calling to remind me to book an MOT at Eastbourne Ford. When I said, I have already done and asked her to confirm it., Then she said she has no access to the database and asked me to confirm my email and car registration to confirm it from them. Ford always calls for MOT and services from their centre, and this is not their number which is suspicious.
