SCAM Indian call centre called claiming to be BT and said that my WiFi was being used illegally by other people without my knowledge. They even sent me texts and emails on legitimate BT numbers and email addresses. This is a very clever scam, do not fall for their scam, BT will never ask for access to your PC to 'prevent access to the WiFi' or for any other reason. Call center. bizarrely number showed as Waggon and Horses garage- curious I answered. Lady said she is called Nia/ Neeya? Wanted my name- not given. Said she was calling about by financial investments. Obvs a load of rubbish so hung up.

Phoned to tell me my washing machine warranty has expired and they're sending me the new paperwork by Royal Mail. Read out to me my name and address and when I confirmed these was going to pass me to her "supervisor" to complete a form. Asked her to tell me what brand of washing machine I've actually got. Unsurprisingly she hung up. Don't know what the scam was going to be but clearly there is one

'Dave', aledgedly from BT, rang to say my internet speed was very slow. To fix it, he needed remote access to my computer or smart phone. I told him I was recording the call and he hung up. Clearly a scam call. Working from a script and not able to cope with my many questions!

SCAM an extremely rude man who I could not hear properly, don’t know who he was calling from as all he did was lecture me on how to speak on the phone, the only 2 words I heard was Damian and financial, then asked me how I didn’t remember registering, registering for what ??? His voice was breaking up, didn’t hear 1 complete sentence, which I told him and he was very rude, loads of background noise, Hung up on him
