So I got a call from this number and after I ve answered no to every question about loans and such, THEN, a massive crowd clap happens! should I be worried about this bizarre event?
when phone back get a voice message i just put phone down and now number added to my number blocker so no more calls from this number

seems this is in Kirkcaldy and as I don t know anyone there I left it to the answer machine and as no message was left guess it s a cold call
No one should have to put up with this it frightend my mother so much that I have had to turn her phone of which I really don't want to do in case there is an emergency.
This is the number for Capital One. They generally call if you ve missed a payment due on a credit card you hold with them; Very helpful when you are having financial difficulties and they will always try to help find a solution for those who genuinely wish to resolve their cashflow issues.
Called just a moment ago and automated voice said they were from Amazon prime and were going to charge £39.99 unless I pressed “1”. Total scam and this looked like it was from my own town as dialling code was the same. Clever. Block calls.

It seems I am being harassed by frequent calls from not just this number but others with similar prefixes:- eg:- 02079240083 (twice in 1 day) / 0207083631 / 02072984500 / 02076086903 / 02072984500 I would be grateful if these numbers could be checked and whoever is using these numbers to advise them that I will make further enquiries to relevant governmental departments and press harassment charges.
