Said they were from homeserve reguarding telephone blocking service. Said we had an account with them and we owed £150. The problem here is my elderly father took the call, if I hadn't have been sitting there she would have scammed him of this money, as she kept saying we had an account and his credit card details and wanted him to confirm the card number. on refusal she threatened with legal action and late payment charge. After asking where he got my number from he explained it was from a database from The Chambers Of Commerce. They hold details for self-employed businesses and sole traders. I do not run any businesses. I asked him to remove my telephone number. He complied.
