Just had a call from this number. They said they had a cheque for me for £4000. Asian guy called Raymond Lee told me about solicitor I didn t let him go any further I just laid into him and he went.

Supposedly from an energy efficiency company, wanted me to confirm my details so promptly hung up!

"Technical fault with your BT hub. Please go to your computer so I can fix it for you". Said I was unable to do so at present. He asked "Are you disabled",replied "what a thing to ask"! said "I m in a meeting, not free at the moment" "What meeting". With that I got fed up with playing along and rang off.

I usually don t answer numbers I don t know (as I get a lot), but I felt like answering this time. A bloke with a northern accent asked for Mr Chin . I told him I don t know that name (as it s not my name and I know no one of that name.) The man on the phone then asked: "Are you hiding him?" The only way to get at these people is to go onto the Information Commisioner s website and report the number. If enough of us do this, they will investigate the number. There are very heavy fines for companies who do this. Report them every time you get a call - it is very easy to do.

A woman pretended to be a staff member of my bank and wanted to have my identification card number. When I wanted to know the name of the bank, she said cheeky that I still needed to know which bank I am.

Is ringing daily, says from BT and there is a router problem, when you start asking questions they simply hang up. If you try and ring this number back you are informed that it is not recognized and you should check and try again!
