Amanda from Safety Guide asking for one of our colleagues by his first name only. I asked what it was regarding & she claimed that he agreed in March to sponsor some books for local schools. I checked with the colleague in question & he confirmed that he hadn t agreed. I advised her of this & told her that when i googled her number it was linked to nuisance calls to businesses claiming to have supported books for local schools. She then said they were legitimate because they had facebook, twitter & LinkedIn

He phoned me on Sunday in response to my ad and offered me the spare parts I wanted for my classic car. We agreed a price and then he said he wanted payment by bank transfer as he was about to go away on holiday. I was promised delivery by the end of the week but he later rang and said there was a delay and delivery would be next week and then he asked for my paypal details. Automated call stating from credit card fraud investigations. I hung up.
Automated call from “my internet service provider” stating that illegal activity has been detected on my account and my service would be disconnected within 24-48 hours….Then gave me a load of options…press 1, press 2…etc presumably to get me to speak to someone so that they could access money in some form or other.
