Had a call from this number saying I d won a prize draw ipad mini etc and for free lottery tickets they have my full name date of birth and address wanting me 2 sign up for lottery syndicate for ?40 a month asked 4 bank details I put phone down they rang back aggressive I d put phone down explained not prepared 2 give my bank details out over the phone she kept insisting I gave them put phone down again keep ringing now blocked number!! A most curious number that appears not to exist. I did not answer.
SCAM I have had three calls from this number today, and at least that number over the last few weeks. It purports to be from amazon, and opens by congratulating me on my amazon purchase. It goes on to say " if you did not make this purchase.......". I cannot say what the remainder of the message is, because at that juncture I terminate the call. The offending number is 07388730907; it is registered in the Russian Federation, and I can think only that it is an attempted scam.
Didn’t answer it, as I didn’t recognise the number, third call today like this so far, so getting fed up, and it’s only noon, I’ve been getting them all week, claiming to be from Amazon, so it’s likely it’s more of the same
