This number rang my mobile today. Caller was male, but the line very crackly, so I was unable to catch what they were saying. Quality of the line makes me think it was being rerouted from elsewhere in the world. They haven't rung back so I can only assume it was a phishing type call. I have blocked it.
I received several calls from a company called UK Energy Council Utility working on behalf of National Grid. They said that I was basically being overcharged by my current suppliers and asked me for my bill to obtain the supply number. They were very inquisitive seeking information that should have been known. I did not provide the information as they appeared dodgy. I was then told that I should continue to be ripped of by my current suppliers.
The number is similar to others that have been pestering me recently so I knew it was the Talk Talk fakers at work still. Last week I got three such calls in one day, so now I answer in a loud voice which seems to upset them, after which I wait until they mention "Talk Talk" before hanging up. This time all I got was a dialling tone. Had a call from them a few weeks ago after i filled in one of those cards after my holiday to spain, they were offering £15 M&s vouchers for a sleep survey, was not interested and asked to be put on their do not call list. lady who called said no problem, and have had no calls since, at they do as they are asked!

Unrecognised tele number that actually left a message in the form of a female electronic voice with US accent. Message didn’t begin as you would expect - seems to come in part way through a sentence - but the gist suggests an arrest warrant for financial irregularities has been issued & to call the number back. No name reference etc. Clear fraud. Number blocked but will keep in case of a future similar call from a similar number & pass to the authorities. Derbys.

SCAM Called me at around 1100 hrs (Tue) on 27.7.2021 on my UK landline. Pre-recorded message read out by a lady, claiming that there has been some illegal activity going on with my internet, unless I contact them (e.g. by pressing '1' for .....'2' for .....) immediately, my internet will be shut down within the next 24-48 hrs. I just hanged up.

their address is at 25 Canada Square at Canary Wharf , they are supposedly on the 33rd floor but this is actually a Regus office which you can rent for short periods.
Not sure how they got my number but as i answered the person was obviously talking to someone else, very loudly! i asked who they were and she told me she was calling from Insure4less - never heard of them and not sure how they got my number.
