SCAM: Fake car accident scam. The caller did not know what car was involved, a date of accident, or a driver name. The caller hung up when questioned. Do not give them any information.
Look guys - these people are pests. Rouse number 1 - after replying affirmative to your name just hang up or stay silent like them. Rouse 2 - give them "your" bank details that are 00012345 sort 11.12.13 name - Mr. Sherlock Holmes - address = well I say 221b Baker Street London. Basically lead them up the proverbial garden path - they really don t like it,because for them its a wasted call.
I received a call from this number, they knew my full name and told me in their records I was showing as someone who had an accident. I said no and by the time I was finishing my sentence asking to take my number off their records, they hung up. how do we stop these calls?
