Text job scam on Whatsapp. I never applied for such a thing. There was an “intern” copy pasting the job requirements. The job itself seemed too good to be true. I looked up the actual company said number was impersonating on Linkdin and the roles offered were for experienced workers (not trainees like the scammers said) and had roles for very specific areas of the uk. The scammer couldn't elaborate on where this “job” is based but it could miraculously work from home. They had very bad English grammar.

Call to my landline at 09:39 on Tuesday 05 Nov 2019. Caller s pre-recorded message played whilst my answer machine played my outgoing message and was indecipherable. Suspected tele-marketing.
Someone calling herself Laura (Scottish accent, noisy call centre) claiming to be from the "National Advice Centre" (not a genuine organization, as far as I can ascertain) asking lots of questions about energy. I let her waffle on for a couple of minutes to waste their time and money. Eventually it turned out that she was trying to sell solar panels. Call claims to be from Virgin Media saying there’s something wrong with your computer. Asks you to sit in front of the computer and tell you there’s something wrong with your IP address which is messing everything up. SCAM

Sick of this number calling mobile says Arncliffe Hotel, Blackpool. Checked their number which is correct. So annoying as do not know anyone from this area. Scam
