Phoned from call center, (I think they were the magazine sellers), they offered me 3 magazines for a good price & said I could pay over the phone. They were very nice at 1st & careful to explain how they wanted my bank details, (not a debit/credit card) & that that is safe, (I discovered that it's true), but they were very, very, insistent, determined & wouldn't take no for an answer! Missed call I called back this landline number and was told “ this mobile may be switched off or out of range. Weird for a landline don’t you think
Trusted to answer as it's a number local to me. Turned out to be an automated message claiming to be from VISA payments to say that my card had been charged £300 to Amazon and £1100 to Western Union, encouraged me to press 1 to dispute charges. Decided it was going to be a phishing scam and hung up.

SCAM Fraud Call received this afternoon. Robot American accented voice started saying "Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs has received a returned letter" - just hung up straight away.

Had a call from this number 10:52 this morning (29/04/23) all that came through was a buzzing sound so I hung up straight away. Figuring it's a spam call.

Phone call from Holbeach ref home repair refund dept. Tells you a refund on your warranty is due then asks for your bank details to process the refund. BE AWARE THEY ARE SCAMMERS.
