My 92 year old uncle who has sight hearing and mobility problems has lots of calls to this number he can't use the phone and being charged for them I'm asking BT to look into this as if you call it it just beeps a few times this is obviously a scam I have asked them to block this number waiting for a call back from BT. think they are targeting the Elderly from comments on other sites if this number rings you do not answer and report to your phone provider

This caller knew my name (but not my correct surname- so not bonafide) and claimed that they had my information because I had been involved in an accident and they were handling the claim. I have not. And when I told the man this, he changed the tack and claimed that someone else had given me as as a contact for their own claim. Nonsense. Asian lady asked for me by name, saying I pay £ for the insurance on my television at which point I hung up. This is not the first time they have called, I have TPS so how do these people manage to get your name and number it is so annoying.

I had a call from this number re. the end of a mobile phone contract. It seemed very dodgy, but I checked with the mobile provider directly, and the people calling from this number are genuine partners. Badly handled in terms of the explanation and also seem to have access to very out of date data. So poor outsourcing exercise at best. Either way - these are genuine people linked to T-Mobile.
