Scam phone call about ‘suspicious activity’ on my internet account. Obviously the name of my Internet Service Provider was not given by the automated caller!
THE NUMBER 2076144195 TEXT ME SAYING THEY WERE MY CLIENT MANAGER IN ORDER TO FINALISE MY ACCOUNT THEY NEEDED A QUICK CONVERSATION . Supposed to be from OFX I looked hem up they are a money transfer company I have never had dealings with them. BEWARE

called, didnt ring for long, was that quick that i missed the call. with it being a premium number i didnt want to call back on my mobile so i used my work landline, it was an automated competition to win an iphone, and asked to answer who won last years xfactor. asking me to press 1,2,3 or 4 - i didnt press anything just hung up

claimed to be from open reach offering reduced line rental while staying with my current line provider just to pay them the line rental.
This number called my landline at 9:06am. I didn't answer because I didn't recognise the number. One minute later it called again. My answer phone kicked in. The message was a load of static.
