No answer when I picked up. Part of a series of different suspicious mobile numbers to have called me since yesterday. Only one of them responded when I picked up a (an automated message supposedly from my unnamed Internet provider).
Computer generated voice telling me I was being investigated for Tax Fraud and if I didn't press 1 to connect to someone I would be arrested. As if! Presumably this would connect me to some high charge rate number.

Had a call from a Wayne (over friendly in my opinion) about 4 items purchased prior to Christmas and asking if I d had to return any of the said items, then went on to talk about monthly payments and how I m now in control of what and when I pay. I told him two of the items had been paid for outright. All this information would be on my account, right?The call doesn t sit right with me so will be contacting the company about this call.

Automated call saying they are from HMRC and if you don't press one now a warrant will be issued against you for fraud. Total scam.... avoid at all costs and do NOT press one. Apparently if you do you your telephone bill will be charged an extortionate amount of money - not sure how much because, fortunately, I did not press one!!!
I’ve had a couple calls from this number. I’m sure her Her name is Sarah. The first phone call I had was very similar to other people’s feedback.... apparently I had agreed to do some advertising in some community magazine and that o had an outstanding balance to pay of £299. I called back & spoke to another Asian/Pakistani woman said I had just spoken to a very rude woman who put phone down when I asked questions. She then shouted Hey Hey Hey and then put phone down.

I received a text message from them telling me I owed them over £90 and to contact them regarding the issue. After speaking to O2 previously, they informed me that the number did not belong to O2; and because of this, I decided to do a little digging. I have sorted my problem with Aknica by reporting them to the TV LICENCE people on 0300 790 6137, they put me directly through to them and they could not find me on their system? It seems they had got the wrong name my surname wrong christian name so took me off their system! 5 minutes later I got a call from the same number a local number and they where asking about a road traffic accident? Somehow they are putting a local dialling code onto your phone so you pick up ????
