Scam automated call saying my debit card had been used to the tune of £600 over seas and they would freeze my card if I didn t press follow the instructions.
Recorded voice said I had an HMRC fraud case and to press opt 1 Of course I didn’t do it and will block the number as they will have to write to me if real

A man claiming to be from office of fair trading called saying I had £ 5000 cheque from ppi which they had claimed for me and I had to buy a £250 Ukash voucher and then the cheque would be delivered I questioned this and the caller calling himself Peter McGuire became rather frustrated I said I would look into it and he should call me back tomorrow! O FT website have a warning about phone scams like this!
