I have been getting texts from this number for Microsoft login codes. I receive the text when i am trying to login to my work email (but only sometimes), and i also receive a text from Microsoft with the actual code. This number is not from Microsoft so it seems dodgy. Blocking it

Was called this morning about 10am was a recorded message, saying we need your authority to pass payment to amazon of £500, and also about a £1000 that needs authorising, the recorded message was crackling and hard to hear all but i just hung up. then did 1471 to see who it was as they made out it was my bank wanting authorisation.

Claimed to be from "Alba Services", saying that "money has been allocated" for improving energy efficiency in homes. Told me that they got the phone number from a "homeowner database" but wouldn t give any further info. It must be a crap database as this is a newsagents shop.... Chancing scammers.
