Number called 3 times advising they are calling from the Carphone Warehouse and wanted to offer me an upgrade. They 1st and foremost didnt know which network i was with yet they were offering me an upgrade. It sounded dodgy so i thought i post on here. Please beware!

This is a scam number from India (pretending to be in Northern Ireland) saying they are BT Openreach and I have a virus on my PC. Just put the phone down BT does not call customers unless you have already raised a fault and all their call centres are in the UK.

It was a male voice gave me a name but I can't remember it but he mentioned Experian then when I queried why he was calling he said it was about a job???
I am from The Netherlands and this number calls me very often. However, I am always too late with answering my phone. I don t know anyone who lives in England, so I have no idea who this person may be. This is why I m really curious who this person/company is. This number belongs to a company called Intelling Ltd based at Wythenshawe (Manchester) and Belfast. An O2 customer service representative confirmed that it is an O2 number, or rather that O2 uses this company to sell its services. The Managing Director at Intelling is a chap called Phil Morgan. You can contact Phil (and I suggest you do) by calling 0161 902 3721. My advice is to continue calling that number until you are put through to Phil. This number calls on average once a day - to a business number. I press 9 as instructed to remove from database but nothing happens. As Robbiefan says if you press 5 to speak to someone they just put the phone down on you when they realise there is nothing in it for them.
