Scam call claiming problems with BT account payment.
Claimed to be from some sort of housing association saying that i logged a claimed that my house has mold and damp in it. told him i own my house and logged no complaint, then call ended.
Automated message accusing me of Tax fraud. Asking me to press one if I wanted more information. Obviously a scam and wanting people to worry/click one. Possibly to hack or take money.
I ve had so many missed calls of these people then they send me a message which came up just a number and asked if they "can call me later"! Well I thought it was someone trying to get sexual with me until I put the number in here and seen,realised these ejits had text me twice of different numbers!!! The other text actually came up as CARS and was asking me to call them urgently!!! ,not after reading these comments!!

For the last 3 weeks I had 8 + calls a day from 01412786082 and the many other phone numbers shopping direct debt collection department use about a outstanding debt I have with them . Funny thing is the account they say is in arrears was paid via a direct debt payment plan and was cleared 3 months ago . Contacting the ICO tomorrow re this harassment .

Silent call. Just before 11pm at night. Had us worried.

The caller immediately rang off without saying anything. Perhaps it was because I have got into the habit of saying "Hello" loudly enough to damage the eardrums when I get these unwanted interruptions. I rang back three times, purely for identification purposes. Each time I got a short recorded message and was then cut off. It was in an American accent. I am still little the wiser. I have had several calls from this and other numbers,they always hang up when I answer.This only started after I went online,a few days ago,to get some car insurance quotes.Silly me!I gave out personal information to several firms,now I am getting nuisance calls.So,this number may well be insurance industry related.My advice,never give your telephone number to someone you do not know and trust.
