Claims to be from Microsoft support and says that my computer has a problem and they need to fix it. From past experience they ll probably ask for access to your computer, and to persuade you they ll tell you to look through the registry on the computer and they ll tell you what number is stored in one of the keys to prove that they know there s a problem. Answered as was from Manchester number, trying to get me to verify payments I had made into vaguely described accounts (a miscellaneous current account, account with benefits such as holiday insurance, but not saying which bank for example). When I responded negatively to every question the caller politely ended the call.
