Call from India, saying they were from 'British Telecom' to let us know our internet speed was down. Wanted me to check on my 'device' to see what my reading said. Then asked whether it was a portable or a desktop. I questioned if that was relevant. Then asked if it were a business or personal device. At which point I said again, I don't think that's relevant. And then, they hung up. So I would say that it was a fishing cold call pretending to be BT. She did offer to give her 'id number', so be wary.

An automated call supposedly from Amazon telling me there is a problem with my Prime renewal. Obviously I checked my Amazon account online and there isn't as I knew my Prime subscription comes out in a completely different month, plus Amazon send out emails to remind you that your billing date is approaching, not phone calls.
