You cannot call back 01702308869 as it leads to an unmonitored voicemail but you can call Converso directly to get your number removed. They can be contacted on 01702 434555 or +44 (0)786 051 9728. Female caller with American accent informs there has been several security breaches with IP address and to press a phone key button for technical support. Don t be fooled.
SCAM Said they’re from carphone warehouse. Offered latest handset, unlimited calls & texts, incliding international plus 30gb internet for £40per month, said they would cancel my current contract for me transfer my number over and cover all cancellation fees. Got very aggressive/ insistent when I said I had sim only contract and intended to stay that way, suddenly offering the deal for £25 and demanding my card details immediately before I someone else took the offer instead.

'Michael' claimed to be from Microsoft and wanted to know if I was the main user of my computer. Although a Leeds number it sounded very long distance as if was coming from India. I hung up.
Said they were from the HMRC, a male voice with well spoken English accent saying a TAX FRAUD had been detected against my tax details. Also said I would be arrested shortly, at that point I hungUp laughing.... :)

Got a call from this number I tried to explain we have terminally ill person in house and needed phone lines clear ( my father has cancer) they just laughed and put phone down. After calling a further 9 times in 3 hours I asked to speak to a manager who came to phone and proceeded to laugh through my explanation and put phone down. I then blocked the number so they rang a further 10 times from international withheld and either blasted sirens or just laughed down phone .
silent call from this number apparently on Whitehaven, Cumbria. have no contacts in that area and my number is TPS registered and ex-directory so strongly suspect its a scam/fraud. block number and reported to Ofcom
Allegedly from BT- on a mobile phone number- I don t think so. Call centre noises in the background barely intelligible Asian woman told me about errors on my broadband. Its my day off so hd some fun before telling her she was a lying lady dog and she should go forth and prosper.

Fraud - tell you that HMRC have issued a warrant for your arrest and to press 1 then they leave the connection open at their end and charge you premium rates for the call. Please don't answer - people have lost up to £300 pressing 1 and then they continually try you on different numbers every day after this. This should have been stopped long ago by the authorities - it's a disgrace that it hasn't been.
