call centre. trying to scam info out of me for work placed pension.
Caller cleared as soon as I picked up.
Recieved call from this number twice today. First time just a silent call, then second time a man called Tom answered saying he was an energy advisor and was asking about loft insulation. I live at home with my parents so I handed the phone to my mother and as soon as she told him she was over 80 years old he just hung up. This is a scam call as well as an annoying call. I was scammed over the phone once before and lost a lot of money so I am always very suspicious when I don't know the number.

I suspect that the caller is not UK based but is using some relay of sorts to make calls appear to be UK based. Once you have them on the line, it is up to you whether to simply insult them or string them along for as long
